URBAN BLACKFEET ASSOCIATION The Urban Blackfeet Association was created by the children and grandchildren of Blackfeet who were brought from their reservation in Montana to be given a vocational education that was believed would help them be assimilated into the dominant culture. In many respects this was a disasterous move for those who were relocated. The UBA was formed with the hope of renewing and reclaiming its member's and their descendant's connection to their tribal culture.
